A new pilot initiative is in the works for Great Lakes Utilities members in northern Wisconsin. Shawano Municipal Utilities, along with Clintonville Water and Electric, combine their purchases of electrical power through Badger Power Marketing Authority. Together they are seeking a design for automating the Clintonville electrical distribution system, which will help to minimize impact and keep power on for customers throught the area when an interruption occurs.
