Water Works & Lighting Commission (WW&LC) is currently undertaking a large expansion of the Coyne substation located in Wisconsin Rapids. WW&LC is providing electrical service to a new facility being built a mile away from the substation, adding a new control house, transformer, breaker, and distribution line from the station. This expansion is giving WW&LC a new bay in the substation that will serve future load growth in the Biron area, as well as Wisconsin Rapids. Read the full article here.
